How do you know when to replace your control arms? When the ball-joints go bad?

I say the timing chain is controversial because a lot of people seem to be alright at 150K miles or more and only replace the tensioner, not the chain. I also have yet to hear of any first hand experience with a timing chain failure.

I'm also not sure about expecting to change the head gasket but maybe. I totally agree with the other stuff if it hasn't been done recently.

joe-
have it checked out by a mechanic or i would offer him $12,500 cash on the spot. see what happens. remember soon you will have to replace the following:
-hoses
-valve adjustment
-timing chain and tensioner
-control arms
-head gasket
-belts

as far as K&N someone mentioned. just get an EVO Airbox. thats the best on the market. if you have any questions feel free to email me.
