Figure maintence on a 325 and multiply that by 2. Maybe 3. Depending on how much work you can do yourself and how hard you look to find the best prices. But then again its all worth it when you drive the car. Depending on the car you buy, how well it was taken care of, how hard you drive, how well you take care of it, and how handy you are the car can be relatively normal to maintain. But in the worst cases, look at spending about half of what you spent on the car to get it in shape. This concerns only mechanical problems. Body problems are another story.

I got lucky and have spent about 3000 in three years and 30k miles on my car's maintence. I'd say about 1000-2000 a year in maintence is average. Theres always more work to do.
