thanks Jack...I've run AVSi's on my 325 before and really liked them as well...just checking to see if there was anything better out there. That is pretty old tech for tires.

All the good stuff is for the 16, 17 and above rim sizes...like pole positions and the like. My cousin runs S-02s on his M5 and they stick like glue.

I usually run 17's on the street, but before a recent AutoX, I decided to throw on my stock rims with some new AVSi's 225/50/15.

Man! Once broken in, these things stick like hell!! You'll love them!

I've heard that they don't last too long.. but hey at $74/a pop, I'd be willing to tear through a few sets..

I've hear good things about the sp8000's too. they are a bit more expensive, and will last a bit longer, but you won't get quite the performance as from the yokohamas.

Good luck,
Jack

it looks like I'm about to step up and buy my co-workers 90 M3 w/ 80k...it is nearly flawless...I just don't think the tires are what should be on the stock rims.

He is running Yokohama A-509 in 225-50 15...I seem to recall the A509 as being a step below the AVS-i, but maybe it lasted longer...what do you guys run on the stock rims?

P-zeros? SP-8000? Yoko A022A or AVS-i?

Thanks in advance.

john
