I did have sort of an accident 2 years ago at an autox, we had a long course setup and i was on the back straight doing about 100mph...coming into my braking zone and a 180 right hander, and the pedal hit the floor, i downshifted to slow her down a little and went off course, came a few inches from a tree...(this is in dallas in August)
I paused a few seconds and checked my pants and backed thecar out....and to my surprise, the grass began to burn! From that off road excursion, i broke a metal bracket that connects the engine mount. That was the last time i used stock brake pads.

Another accident...a M roadster hit a fence and a Z3 rolled his car.

Hi Y'all, I would not autoX with the Lone Star Chapter of the BMW CCA: I don't think many have had any high performance drivers' training, and few act as if they have. Mike (11 BMWs and 11 yrs as a CCA Member #97249) Also, please understand that the many BMW CCA waivers now have "hold harmless and indemnify" clauses which makes you potentially liable for any and all events without your insurance as a backup! Not Good!
