I wouldnt worry too much about milage. A great full service history, 1 maybe two owners is more important. I have actually driven a 100kmile car that drove better than a 51kmile car because it had been very well looked after.

Example: imagine a 50k mile car which has done 10mile journeys each day and thrashed - and thrashed when cold. Then imagine a 100kmile car which has done three 200 mile journeys a week crusing along, I would imagine the 100k car would be in better condition.

Hello --

Just started to poke around looking for a E30 M3, looking for one that is not a track car and with less than 20,000 or 30,000 miles on it. I've been looking on autotrader.com, ebay and traderonline.com. Any better places to be looking?

Also given that there were about 15,000 made, will I find a low mileage one and in what price range will these be? Edmunds indicates about $12K but this seems low??

Any ideas/tips will be helpful!

Thanks,

Paul
