i'm thinking of getting M3 swaybars for my '89 325is. I've been told that the M3 bar attaches to the struts instead of the a-arm. Comments? Any thoughts on whether to buy used m3 parts vs. new after market?
Thanks.

Go aftermarket if you want to upgrade. I *think*, not sure but your frt sway bar may be larger than ours. The difference in how they are mounted makes ours stiffer.

E36s are similar in that 325/328s have thicker bars (frt) than E36 M3s.
