i can hear this same thing, ive got 118,000mi and the owner before me said he replaced the clutch not long before i got it (about 3000mi ago). also, there seems to be too much play in the clutch pedal, is this easy to fix? it feels like about half an inch of no resistance, weird. thanks

When I let my clutch out in neutral when the car is idling, it starts making a clicking noise that comes from the lower drivers side of the engine. When I push the clutch back in, when the car is idling in neutral, the noise goes away. There is also a slight vibration in the shifter that I can feel when I let the clutch out.

Anyone ever had this happen? The clutch was just replaced about 20K miles ago. Any ideas?
