Jim C chip makes noticable gains, but... (archive)

...just watch out for detonation under full throttle conditions at about 5500 rpm. Detonation (pre-ignition) is very very bad for your very very expensive S14. I switched to a Dinan chip and cam gear. Not quite as much punch as the Jim C. chip in my opinion, but no detonation either.

Really i had my chip in 92 and i intalled myself, since then i drove my car thinking that was really cool my stupid chip, yesterday i install the original one just to feel the diferance, and you could not belived it was exactly the same, well im not a dyno but it really did not felt anything, im disapointed could someone tell me which is the really best chip for my m3 e30 1988.
