Has anyone thought of using the plastic that cover ceiling flourescent lights for the the front turn signals. It seems to be similar to the material used in the Turner front clear lenses at a fraction of the cost. I may be heading in the direction of Hondas but just a thought

Turner's are exact copies of the OEM lenses (minus the BMW logo and numbering) and in no way similar to flourescent light panels. Over time the paneling will discolor and certainly leak water. Just get the real deal. $49 isn't that much of an investment.
