BTW when I was following the S2000, I had 1 second lateral averages in the .7s g range. But I was using proper racing lines and had plenty in reserve considering that we were on unfamiliar (to me) roads. The S2000 on the stock SO-2s can do 0.92 g on a skidpad and yet slid from time to time right in front of me...but he was using crummy lines. Using the proper line straightens out the turns and reduces the lateral g's required. IMO if you can drive, you can be in nearly any car and keep up with the average Joe in "better" iron with very little effort. So for the guy who wanted to know what he could run with, if you can drive, nearly anything is the answer.
