(for the wheel brg)i am not familiar with the tool from skyway ,you will need a socket to get the axle nut off, a tool to press the axle in/out of the hub, a tool to remove hub from bearing and reinstall it , a tool to press bearing in and out of spindle, and a tool to remove the outer race of the bearing from the hub if the bearing does not stay together when removing hub from bearing, this tool is special for ABS equiped cars as using a press to remove the race will damage the abs trigger ring. this job requires a lot of special tools and is not to be taken lightly by the backyard mechanic (im not say you are )as you can really bugger things up by using the wrong tools to do this job!you will also need a stout set of snap ring pliers

for the cv joint you need a good allen socket (the bolts are very tight and have loctite on them), and you need special retaining ring pliers to remove the external snap ring(no little holes in these rings) holding the joints on the shaft , and access to a press to push shaft in/out of cv joint.

Just wondering if there are any pitfalls or things to watch out for or tips.

TIA

c/v joints are fairly easy the wheel bearing you will need a special tool to press hub out and then bearing in and out of spindle, a pricey tool! and of course not the same tool as the one needed to do the front wheel brgs, Argh so much for engineering simplicity

Going to buy the ST tool from Skyway.
Can you offer any practical advise or tips??
