How do you reinforce these sway bar tabs?

Number one: If you want to track the car at all, get an oil pan baffle, if you dont track the car-get it anyway, its insurance:)

Number two: Reinforce the sway bar tabs.

First and foremost go around the car to make sure everything is in good shape, fuel filter, dist. cap and rotor button, good ing. wires etc. The shocks are probably shot from age, if you dont want to lower the car go with Bilstein HDs for use w/ the stock springs. As for plugs, if the car sits a lot you may want an extra set, but if you start the car on a normal basis and let it come up to full operating temperature you shoudlnt have a problem. I have found that when I dont let it come up to temp and then shut it down, then let it sit for days...weeks...whatever, it gives me crap starting sometimes the next time....FWIW.
