My freon is low and the system needs to be charged. I am waiting on some new bracket bushings I ordered so I can take the tilt out of the compressor alignment. Once I get this fixed I will get the system charged up. Finding a shop to do the R12 is depressing and expensive. It seems like a 134A conversion is inevitable. Has anyone else faced this delema and done the conversion? I see retrofit conversions listed in the ETK but I am confused if this is a complete compressor switch or just new O rings, oil and freon. Any advice or case historys would be helpful. TIA, Chris
