I know this may sounds a little stupid, but is there anything I should know about changing the oil? Anything
to look out for? And what's a good weight to run in
90-100 degree weather?
I just helped to pull a S14 motor several weeks ago, and here I am asking about an oil change...sheeesh...

-- Don't strip the drain plug when tightening it
-- ...and don't forget to get a new crush washer for the drain plug
-- Pre-oil the filter, I about fill it with fresh oil then spin it on.
-- For your area I'd use Mobil 1 15W50
-- Don't spill any or else have some oil dry handy to lift it with, maybe kitty litter works. :)
-- I overfill by 1/16th of an inch over the full mark (just to be safe).
Oh yeah I forgot the most important thing when first doing an oil change. Take some fresh oil and spread some around the seal on the oil filter with your finger.
