The brake caliper will make it shimmy when you brake, but not driving down the road. It could be anything, bent wheel, control arm, front axle, etc.


i test drove an 88 m3 today. i couldnt get it passed 55mph cause there was an awful shimmy. the guy told me that the caliper was frozen. would this cause a shimmy??? the car was in an accident but has a clear title. i am going to have my mechanic check the car out for me.
