I've sort of deciding to stick with my S14 as opposed to swapping in a motor from an E36 M3. I guess the deciding factor is that by upgrading my S14 I can do it in steps, without having to shell out $15k all at once (which is about what it will cost to swap in an E36 motor when all is said and done, and have it done right by an awesome tech).
Anyway, I see that Turner sells the 2.5 conversion kit for $2150, and they quoted me about $5,000 total including labor to do all the work for me. Does this sound like a pretty good deal, or does anyone have any suggestions on someone else I can have do the work in the New England area? I figure once I do this, a little on down the line I can then do the intake, exhaust, etc. Any thoughts or comments?
