would be to buy an aftermarket cd deck that has RCA outputs on it. If he doesnt want to spend that money, first look on the amp to see if it has high level inputs (speaker level inputs). If it does have these, you need to find the speaker wires that are going to the rear speakers and run wires off of them into the amp (if there is a factory amp, you must find the speaker wires before the factory amp).
If the amp that he got doesnt have these speaker inputs, go to your local stereo store and you can buy a speaker to RCA converter. You can email me if there are any other questions (I have done this many times).
