Stock. IMO K & N sucks dirt :). Not a lot of dirt but the filtering properties of the paper filters is a lot better. If you dont mind losing some engine life in the long term then go for K & N.

I think Evo Sports (Evo III`s) use the same filter as a non-evo car so the stock filter is good for 238bhp.

Ive heard of 1 or 2 hp gains with K & N drop in filters BUT they did not dyno the car with a new paper filter but an old one so just maybe the stock filter was a bit past its prime anyway.

My opinion :)
