Well Pat, that's a good point that you bring up. The air "snorkle" that has the 90 degree bend should be used with the old style, non-evo airbox and in conjunction with the slatted tow-hook covers. The thing is, that most places won't mention this or probably just don't realize that there is another one (straight, no bends) that you should get with the Evo unit. So, you do have the Evo airbox but you just need to get the straight snorkle which is around $5.00 and also you should get the Euro tow-hook covers with this set up. I don't believe there's any advantage to having the Evo airbox without these additional pieces. I believe there's a write-up with some pictures on Gustav's site , what is it... E30performance.com or something like that. HTH.
