The sensor with the three wires are to the high and low temperature switches (combined into one connector)for the auxilary fan
Hello, I finally found the antifreeze leak. It was not from the expansion tank or cap, but from the water pump. Was underneath where the pulley attaches, very difficult to detect. At beginning I thought was a hose clamp leaking in that area. Is my problem now: I was removing the thermostat and notice two connectors in it. One has two wires and the other three. The one with three connectors, only one wire was making connection to the thermostat, the others are cut. Question: what is this connector takes the information to? I check the thermostat in boiled water and it only opens at around 190/200 F. Is this ok? Any IDEAS? Thank you. Ferd
