I just took mine off from the throttle bodies(air trumpets). Their wasn't to much gunk except right where the rubber elbow meets the plenum. Your better cleaning off(w/solvent) the air trumpets. Mine had all kinds of dirt. Also where the butterflies are on the throttles. This got rid of my sticking throttle response. Hope this helps...... (no need to sand blast anything. That is unless your refinishing the outside black paint)
Someone told me that i should clean the intake plenum, my car has 52000 miles and i have never done that, he told me that they do this with a kind of sandblasting.
is it true, will it work, do i have to take of the plenum, shoul i buy new gaskets, i have a lot of questions.
Thanks
Ricardo
