After noticing a drop in power when I downshifted or pushed the revs a little high, I decided to get some new plugs. When I removed them, one was completely destroyed and the others all have signs of something not good (greying and looking brittle). I have only had them for about a year. This doesn't seem right to me, but I am new to higher compression engines. Any thoughts to what could have caused this? I don't wanna have to replace them again in the near future. Also, the car idles a little choppy. Thanks for any help you can give.
