Did you replace one of the brake lights recently? I had a similar problem with my Volvo. The warning light for a burnt out bulb would come on intermittently, but all the lights were working.

Eventually, it turned out that the warning light circuit tested for burnt bulbs by comparing the resistance between the left and right bulbs. When I replaced one of the bulbs, there was a slight difference in resistance between the new bulb and the old one, so the warning light would come on intermittently even though all the lights were working. Maybe your situation is similar. HTH
