I wish they still made the Bridgestone Re-71s. I had them on my car and when they were new they were VERY grippy. They did however begin to loose grip after about 60% of the tread wore away.

The Sp8000s are still pretty cheap but it'll cost me another $100 for the set over the intermediates.
