I have it on my '88 M3. Gustave's site shows a modification which is primarily for ease of removal, but if you don't mind simply undoing 4 bolts you don't need to modify it for removal. (I agree, an exta bolt on the down piece would improve stiffness.)


Folks are mentioning that this stress bar does not fit properly out of the box. Has anyone bought one of these and had it fit with no modification? Could it be that you need to lift the car and take the pressure off of the front suspension for proper installation of the bar?
