The only installation secret I know is to pay someone else to do it ;^) It's one thing to work on things yourself so that you can save cash and learn more about your car, but when it comes to something as labor-intensive, and with little or no educational value, as carpet replacement, I say just hire it out and get it over with.
Speaking of carpet, I still need to get mine cleaned. The owner before me didn't use any floor mats... grrr.

Hey you guys,
Have any of you replaced the carpet? I did mine yesterday. It took 4 hours just to put back in. I couldn't get it to slide under the blower. Once I did it was very difficult to move around so the rest of the carpet would line up. I finnaly got it done at 11:00pm at night. I put WD40 on the foam so it wouldn't grip the paint an so I could slide it back. But that only helped a little. The Koala motorsport CD (e30m3 repair manual) didn't have carpet replacement in it. Now I just have to put the rest of the interior back together. Do you guys have a secret for this repair???
