I just purchased the Sparco strut bar (for the e30 m3) from Rod Millen Motorsports in Huntington Beach, CA. Cost is $96 plus shipping. They are primarily a Porsche shop that carries Sparco products. They order it and it shows up like 3 to 8 weeks later. Anyway it's 1 1/2" steel tube (still very light) and requires drilling a hole in each shock tower (not absolutely necessary). A lot of people on the board complain that they don't fit unless you jack up the car by the front subframe. It fit right on to mine just fine wihout jacking. I'm going to have the bar modified so that I can remove the center section when I need to work on the car. Aluminum has no flex and will likely fatigue and crack eventually. IMHO.

OK, NOW THAT I HAVE CONFIRMED THAT AN E36 BAR WONT FIT, HOW ABOUT A E30 BAR FOR, SAY, A 325IS. THE REASON I ASK IS THAT SCHNITZER LISTS A BAR FOR THE 325 BUT NOT FOR THE M3 AND I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT AN E30 BAR FITS ANY CAR WITH THAT CHASSIS. SCHNITZER AND CECWHEELS.COM CANT SEEM TO GIVE ME AN ANSWER, SO IM TURING TO YOU, MY E30 M3 BRETHREN. OH, ONE MORE THING, CECWHEELS.COM ALSO CARRIES THE SCHNITZER SPORT MIRRORS FOR THE 325 BUT NOT FOR THE M3, HOWEVER IN MY PARTS CD IT SAYS THAT THE MIRORS HVE THE SAME PART NUMBER. SAME PIECE? OR DIFFERENT?

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP

JAY
