and you're right it increased understeer. I think he may have run Road Atlanta with the rear bar disconnected and figured this might be OK at Mid-Ohio.
At the carousel all you guys lift your front inside tire, Robbie's was about 1 ft up in the air much higher than yours/Larry/ChuckS.
He ended up reconnecting it. When you guys have that front tire up in the air you're understeering, my E30 M3 does it on occasion at autoxes and I've also noticed that when people tell me I was lifting a tire it happens to coincide with the portion of the course that I felt my car understeer in. Anyhoo....
