I was driving last night fine, and then out of nowhere the clutch pedal got stuck in. I had to reach down and pull it out, and it became very tricky to get it in gear and drive it to the closest parking lot. Upon closer inspection, when the pedal is pushed halfway in, it pulls itself the rest of the way to the floor. Could it be the master or slave cylinders? What is it? Unfortunately the closest place to where I parked the car is the local BMW dealer, and I dont really want to take it there.
TIA
MichaelHey man its the Master cylinder, I had the same problem, it took me and my buddy about 1/2 an hour to replace it, the part cost about $60 bucks from Bavarian or any of those BMW places, Find someone with a little mechanical background and have him help you out, its really not that hard. Hope this helps.
