I test drove a '93 RS America with 1600 original miles on it last year. I think he was asking $47k and sold it to a guy sight unseen. How does that compare to the CPI guide? I also heard of a lower mileage RS America out there. Why don't these people drive these cars.

'87 535is (semi-gargage queen!)
'95 M3 (sold)
E30 M3 - someday?

Asking $20K which is much less than what there going for in the BMW Roundel Magazine with triple the mileage and with after market racing parts.

Those are asking prices, not going prices.
According to CPI value guide, your car is valued at $15,875.

is going to sell for the CPI guide value. OK so I wouldn't pay $20K either.... but there's always someone seeking those somewhat rare enthusiast owned motorsport vehicles with low miles. :)

Not me, I'd rather have a well cared for one, drive the wheels off of it and modify it as I please. No ricey crap add-ons or 17-19" rims for me though. ;)
