Korman brake kit (archive)

Is anyone using the korman brake kit - i.e., larger brake rotors/stock caliper? The 12inch rotors are $415/pair while the kit is $1200. I can't believe that they get $800 for the little bracket and mates the larger rotor to the factory caliper. My dad is a machinist, so I think that we can make some out of milled aluminum; what would really help is if someone could provide me with a picture of their setup. I would really appreciate it!!
