I don't think its loosing fluid, I have not noticed the level dropping.

I'll bleed the system and see if that makes a difference.

The clutch peddle requires a strong push to depress but it has always been like that and a mechanic a while back (two years back) suggested that a heavy duty return spring had probably been fitted at some stage ?*!?
