1) New Gebo (the rubber disk between drive shaft and tranny)
2) Do the rear engine seal (if it leaks in 15,000 miles from now, you'll kick your self). Any old seal puller will work, just be careful.
3) shift linkage parts:
the "U" joint
The foam puck (or make one out of rubber, check the archives

The tranny bearings are a real bear, I did mine. You need lots of special tolls or experiance. If you lack these, leave it to a pro. If you get a rebuild at your BMW dealer, they don't do it, they send it to Germany and install one rebuilt by the factory.
