After a few years of search, I finally found it -
1988 white on black, rebuilt engine and transmission (by BMW dealer, less then 2000 miles ago) e30 M3.
Right now the car is in the body shop for the complete paint job and other mods.
Hope to have her on the road soon!
I am in NJ.
