BMW are to make a light-weight M3 Supercoupe.
The Lighter M3 will shed around 150kg & is set to be badged as a M3 CSL.
The CSL won't gain any power increase over the current M3 as the engine
is already stretched to it's limit, instead it will lose non-essential items such as
Air Con, Electric seats, Electric sunroof.

BMW will also use weight saving tyres called "Cup" tyres, that only lasts a
third as long as normal road tyres, but offers double the grip. The tyres have helped
shed a massive 10secs of the Nurburgring lap time.
Only 1000 CSL's will be made each year.
