I can never feel unobtrusive in the car. In fact, I think it continuously screams "ARREST ME!" My general speed is about 80 MPH. The car just seems to settle in at that speed and if I pay close attention to my Valentine 1, I feel pretty safe from detection. I also avoid any extended stays in the left lane.

Living in Europe, I consider myself lucky to be allowed drive at reasonable speeds on the Autoroute, Autobahn, Autostrada etc. Whilst there are limits in place in most places now, and traffic can be a limiting factor, I find that a steady 160-180 is a relatively unobtrusive cruising speed in Belguim and France where the limit is generally 130. The Germans seem to stick to the limits more closely perhaps because they know they can make up time on the unlimited stretches.

How are things on the Interstates etc. these days?
