I took my car to BMW today and they told me that the hesitation and poor gas mileage was caused by worn intake gaskets. The gaskets run about 165 each with 3 hours labor as well I need new alternator bushings. Total cost before tax will be about $900.00.

This is less than 3 weeks after I just spent $1600 on an Inspection II and having an oil leak fixed.

Ah well, this car is still too much fun for me to give up but the repair bill is sure getting up there.
