The motor fits nicely and can be converted back at any point to s14. I'm doing the conversions in Austin and could provide a pretty quick turn around. If you'e interested feel free to email me. I can provide the motor aswell, although I think you would be happy with a smaller more available motor with the right gearing and minor mods. Let's talk. Chris

My engine has about 170,000 miles. Pretty soon I am
thinking about going w/ the Ron Checa 285 HP engine or converting to the E36 M3 engine w/ 3.2L. So my questions I want to ask you all who have had experience with this conversion are......

What do you think is the best engine to go with in a big city like Dallas, Tx?

Once you convert to the M52 engine, can you convert back to the S14 motor in the future?

Is the M52 engine much faster than the S14 on getting up to 60, 100, 140, and what's the difference on the top speeds?

And also, if you know, 0-60 time, and does the car handle any different since the M52 motor wasn't built for it?

Thank you in advance!!
