I was peacefully driving on the expressway when a silver E36 M3 passed me doing about 90. F#@k it......I went after him. I just want to let you all know that the E30 is very evenly matched with the E36 at highway speeds. He was in front of me but blocked by a car in front of him. As soon as we got room we both got on it. I, unfortunately, forgot about the E30's powerband. I was in 5th at 3k rpm when we got on it. He slightly pulled me at first but when I hit 6000rpmI started to slowly reel him in. We got blocked again by traffic but this time I downshifted to 4th with the rpm's at about 5500. We got some room to maneuver and got on it again. This time I was on his ass. He was not pulling away at all. I was right next to him for about 5 seconds until we had to slow down again. I really believe that if we would have kept on going I would have passed him before his limiter would have kicked in. It was exciting but I will never race on the highway ever again. My hands were shaking afterwards....there are just too many people that don't look at their rear view mirrors.
