In attempting to remove my transmission to replace the flywheel and clutch Ive hit a stone wall so to speak. I have removed the exaust and heat shields and disconnected the drive shaft in the front to gain acess to the tranny. I then removed the star bolts and the plate and one of the starter bolts. At the shifter I removed the shift lever from the shift rod and the rear bolt of the console mount. I still have the shifter attached and part of the plate, probably the front bolt Im not sure. Do I need to remove the allen muts to disconnect the remainder of the sift mechanism? At present I cant relieve the transmission from the engine and I am not sure what is holding it in, I cannot find any more bolts up top. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
