I'm looking at a 1989 M3 that has about 120,000 miles.... In the last year he has replaced the follwoing: brake discs/pads, rear bilsteins, distributor cap/rotor, lower control arms, tie rods, windshield, sway bar mounting rods, lower engine cover, wiper motor, and more. Its just had an Inspection II..... he also had it repainted.

Seems a little steep for a car with relatively *light* recent work. Has nothing else been done to the engine? If not, it's overdue for a timing chain and who knows what else.... At least have a leakdown test done, but I think it's more like a $9-$10K car..
