Actually, are you sure you don't have two sets of RCA outs there? That way you wouldn't need the y adapter, but rather you could run one set to the EQ and later to the AMP for the speakers. The other set could possibly be used for a dedicated sub amp. You definately need to run everything through the amp (the crossovers should be used to block higher or lower frequencies depending on what type of speaker you are sending the signal to).

Nice pictures, you got a bit of a nack for this graphics design stuff, huh?
