does anyone know if the steering wheel column for
a '90 M3 (airbag) is different size than
e30 M3 without airbag? It seems like the
spindle is longer (possibly differnt diameter too?),
so a momo steering wheel
for a normal e30 wont fit correctly. there is play
(vertical and horizontal).

so do you buy the e36 fitments?
