how do u clean/protect wanna-be leather seats? (archive)

ok... they are not leather... and they are not vinyl... they are that stuff that almost looks like leather, but isnt leather (recaros, btw, but *not* IS or M3 recaros though). forgot the name of the material... anywayz... what type of protectant should be used on them? i used this one protectant before and now they are all sticky, well, not exactly... but ur hands feel sticky after u touch them, close enuff!!! (smelled a lot too, cant quite distinguish the smell though!)
