I guess you would have to remove some material from the dash surround. It looked like there would be room in back and I'm sure you could move the cage back a bit with a little effort. It would definitely be nice.

...so it's not sticking 1/4" out of the dash? I want it to be more flush-mounted but I'm afraid of it not being solid in there. I have a Blau Syndey - same as Toronto but cassette (definitely blends well with the e30 dash).
