This is the kit I bought. It comes with the baffle, oil pan gasket and very detailed instructions. You will need to reuse the non-return flap already installed on the car (I think you need to do this with the Turner and BMP kits as well)

You might also want to remove and inspect your tensioner to make sure everything is kosher. I installed the E36 tensioner about two months ago and there hasn't been any rattle ever since.

Sounds like oil surge away from the pickup in the pan. Experts (not that I am one) suggest a slight overfill on oil level when doing auto-x and trackdays, as well as an oil pan baffle.

Turner sells a baffle for about $65, might be worth looking into.
