Eric,
The A/F meter doesn't read properly until the engine is up to operating temperature. I have a JC Chip and I passed smog even with a 2.5L conv.

I'm using a Split Second A/F meter. The instructions indicated that the lights should "Dither" (go back and forth) under cruising conditions. The only time it should go full rich is under throttle/acceleration.

with the cruse on, it will dither back and forth, but under ANY kind of throttle, it will go to almost full rich, I still have about 2 LED's left, there are 20 LED's total. i haven't seen it all the way rich yet, because i'm still trying to break in a new clutch
