Toyos absolutely do not suck as school tires.
They are possibly the best school tire available IMHO. Very cmomunicative at the limit, absolutely no flash breakaway, the slide wonderfully, and they wear like iron.
I can lap just as fast on Toyos as Kumhos and they outlast Kumhos 2-3 times as long.

The Toyo is about 1 - 1.5 secs off of my times overall against my Goodyear GSCS comp tires at tracks like Pocono, Lime Rock and "the Jeff", but dead even (or even a bit faster) than my Kumhos.

They are the #1 choice for a school tire, I have over 3 "hard" seasons on mine, I just cannot kill them. Kumhos are easy to kill.

Toyo or Hoosier?


you dont want toyo because tey suck and u dont want hoosiers because they dont last worth a shit but are fast . Ur best bet for driving school tires is probably the kumhos or bfg g force r1
