Try a heat gun (hair dryer) to loosen it up. You can also purchase Adhesive Remover ( I think 3M makes it) to remove all of the glue. I'd stay away from acetone.
I had the M-badge from the back of my E28 M535i stolen. But this has left the black sticky adhesive pad stuck to the paintwork and I can't seem to shift it to put the new one on. I've tried acetone ( ie nail varnish remover) and it doesn't work.
Any ideas?
( I know this is the E30 M3 board but I figured there'd be more experience of this kind of thing here than on the E28 board.......Thanks)
