Anyway heres what happened. I must of arrived at about 1pm or a little bit earlier. I parked in the competitors car park not far from where the track pass selling office is. Actually i was kinda parked right near the building to the left of that building (litle garage building or something). I had a quick look around for your cars (neils and the two M3`s) and found them but u guys werent around. I wanted to leave a "Darren M was here" piece of paper on Neils windscreen but had no damn paper. I then had to head off to the far side of the track to the karting place.
When I got to quarry (at the end of the main straight) I saw Neil inhis 325 and the silver M3 on track. I saw the silver M3 running after that boxster for a good few laps before that Porsche 911 CS spun off at quarry and fu**ed up his front end (must of been a 200 quid fiesta driver who stole the 911 :)). As well as that, a damn TVR Cerbera (i think) also spun there and I think the silver M3 came along so you or yer mate must of saw him recovering. The session was then paused I thnk
What happened to the silver M3 after the session restared? I saw it following Neil`s Sport and then next lap Neil was alone.Spin or brake problem?
After watching the karting and track at the same time I returned back to the track pit area but couldnt find u guys, this was late in the afternoon. I tried to get on the track myself at about 4:45 when it was nice and quiet on track but they stopped selling passes then.
GOod to see you had fun! Digitise the vid footage and put it on the net:)
DArren
just got back form castlecoombe in wilthsire and the UK.
It was absolutly supurb, myself in an Evo II and my mates in a Cecotta, 325 sport and a corsa. The track was not too busy, perfect weather. Ragged it around the track up behind Boxsters, MR2 turbos. Excellent adrenalin. Brakes faded after the fourth lap. Bugger, I had to slow down after that but the Mrs was relieved!!
Darren was right about it being a brake eater.
I will post a URL on the message board when we have some movies. A Wicked day was had by all.
My mate in the Cecotta had a heart attack after doing a 360 down the start finish straight.....Woohoo, I'm addicted.
